A traditional Tuscan farmhouse, Casa immersa nel verde is one of the oldest homes in the valley. This authentic country house retains all the charm of rural Tuscany, featuring the characteristic external staircase and loggia, from which guests can enjoy magnificent sunsets with the picturesque village of Castiglion Fiorentino as a backdrop.
From the swimming pool and the large garden surrounding the house, you can admire the gentle rolling hills of the Val di Chio. Just a short distance from the property, a beautiful 7 km trail winds through lush greenery — perfect for walking, cycling, or horseback riding. Upon arrival at Podere Il Giardino, guests are welcomed with a small refreshment as a friendly gesture of hospitality.
The area is peaceful both day and night, with the only sounds being birdsong by day and the soft hoot of owls at night. The town of Castiglion Fiorentino is just 2.5 km away — about 5 minutes by car or a 35–40 minute walk. In town, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, and small shops, many of which offer outdoor dining and evening aperitifs during the summer. Piazzale Garibaldi also provides ample parking for visitors.
