The "Podere S. Apollonia," formerly part of the Grand Ducal Farm of Montecchio, was a workers' home.

Today, it is an air agriturismo offering gliding courses.

S. Apollonia, the main "Leopoldina"-style building, is now the owners' residence, but also includes the "Picchio" apartment; the other farm unit, named S. Maria, inhabited until 1990 by the sharecropper, is now the "Rondone" and "Falco" apartments.

It offers hospitality in five apartments, sleeping a total of 18 people, in the tranquility of the Valdichiana, with a marvelous view of the Cortona hills, not unlike how Beato Angelico depicted it five centuries ago.

Those who share our passion for flying will find a grassy runway where, among other historic pieces, the first Falco F8L is based.
