Our farmhouse in the province of Arezzo overlooks the beautiful Valle di Chio, a small valley between Tuscany and Umbria that has retained its unmistakable agricultural character over the years, preserving the typical Tuscan rural landscape intact. This valley, still unknown to many, frames part of our farm in Castiglion Fiorentino.
Here we produce extra virgin olive oil, which is available for purchase on site. Our beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside is nestled among the olive groves, woods, and chestnut trees. The wonderful park surrounding the farmhouse allows for al fresco dining in the summer and relaxing moments in complete privacy.
The name of the farmhouse comes from the ancient name of the place, given that a spring from which a small stream originates is found in the woods. The farm was purchased in the 1960s by the Faralli family, and the house, now in ruins, was used as a warehouse during the olive harvest. The farmhouse was recently renovated and opened to guests in 2000, combining the sale of olive oil with agritourism. Spread over two floors, the spacious and comfortable farmhouse (approximately 290 square meters) features a perfect Tuscan style, both in its structure and furnishings. It can accommodate eight people, for unforgettable holidays in Tuscany immersed in nature.
