A local guide will accompany you through the lesser-known alleys of Castiglioni – as its inhabitants call it – discovering the charm of a lively and authentic village. Once you pass through Porta Fiorentina, you will leave the main road to reach the archaeological area of Cassero, climbing up secondary streets that will offer you delicious glimpses and moments of daily life.

Once at Il Cassero, you will be amazed by the ancient tower and the view of the Valdichiana. Going down, you will reach Piazza del Municipio, the beating heart of the village, and the Vasari loggia that overlooks the Val di Chio. From here, your walking tour will resume, taking you to Porta Romana, discovering the village of Castiglion Fiorentino in its entirety and in its secrets. During the tour, there will be a delicious stop at a historic shop in the center to taste the flavors of Tuscan tradition.
