La Casa del Nonno

From the village of Castiglion Fiorentino, with its shops and services, continuing along the picturesque road that winds through the Val di Chio and through the wooded hills that form the natural border between Tuscany and Umbria, you'll arrive at a small cluster of houses nestled on the hillside and overlooking a beautiful wooded panorama. La Casa del Nonno is a small, ancient stone house that is part of this original rural hamlet, once inhabited by peasant families.

Here, you'll find guaranteed peace; lazy summer days by the pool and on the solarium, enjoying the sun, without hearing any sound other than that of nature.

A meticulous renovation has brought La Casa del Nonno back to life. Rustic-style furniture, antique beams on the ceilings, and the old fireplace in the living room give it a warm atmosphere reminiscent of times gone by, when the house and the blazing hearth were the farmers' refuge after a hard day's work.

The house will be your little nest, beautifully finished, comfortable, and welcoming, making you instantly feel welcome.

In front of the house, an outdoor space arranged on natural terraces connected by steps is fully fenced and equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue, and a laundry room. Also for your exclusive use is the beautiful swimming pool (6x4 meters, depth 1.20 meters), with panoramic views and equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs, and a beach umbrella.

For al fresco dining on summer evenings, the owners have created a special corner on a garden terrace, equipped with a wrought-iron table and chairs shaded by a large beach umbrella.

FIRST FLOOR: with double entrance, both on the ground floor and via an internal staircase, bathroom with shower, double bedroom, and bedroom with a queen-size bed.
